Buying here takes the fee in ETH and sends 100% of it to the burn engine. The same trade on Uniswap pays Uniswap’s liquidity providers instead — the pool and the price are identical either way.

Before you buy: there is a warning on Uniswap

If you open this token on Uniswap you will see “Potential honeypot detected”, from a scanner called Blockaid. You should know why it is there and decide for yourself.

A honeypot is a token you can buy but cannot sell. That is a claim about behaviour, and it is checkable: sells execute normally and have done repeatedly, including by arbitrage bots buying in one pool and selling in another in the same transaction — which is impossible against a honeypot. Every transfer is public.

Blockaid reviewed the contract in writing and described it as “a verified standard token with no admin controls, no trading fees, and no ability to mint after deployment”, and stated that the classification is driven by the token being young, thinly traded, and held by few addresses — not by honeypot behaviour. They confirmed it reassesses automatically as liquidity and holder distribution improve.

Three independent scanners disagree with that flag. GoPlus Security, De.Fi Scanner and Honeypot.is each test the contract by behaviour, and each returns not a honeypot. De.Fi also returns no rugpull risk. GoPlus additionally reports: not mintable, not pausable, no blacklist, balance not modifiable, creator holds 0%. GeckoTerminal shows zero community reports against the pool. You can run all three yourself from the pool’s security tab.

What those same scanners do mark against us is real and we will not dress it up: the top ten addresses hold 97.6% of supply, and the pool is thin. Most of that is the locked liquidity position and the founder allocation vesting until 2028, but concentration is concentration, and it is the honest reason a scanner treats this token as higher risk.

None of that makes this token safe, and nothing here is a security audit — there has not been one, which is stated plainly in our published security report along with everything else that has not been done. It means the specific warning you will see is about size and age, and we would rather you heard that from us than found it on the way to a trade.

What it is, in five sentences

ANANSI is a burn-only token on Base wired to a real business: anansidata.xyz, a pay-per-call data & web-search API for AI agents.

55% of every dollar the business earns automatically buys ANANSI on the open market and destroys it. 25% deepens permanently locked liquidity. 20% funds operations. The split is hard-coded and runs on-chain without anyone pressing a button — the first autonomous revenue burn already happened (engine receipts).

Supply can only fall — the contract has no mint function — and stops falling at a hard floor of 21,000,000.

Holding it does something. 1M ANANSI in your wallet buys 50 API calls a day, 10M buys 500, 50M buys 5,000 — a balance check, not a stake, so the tokens never leave your wallet and you can sell whenever you like. How it works.

The founding liquidity (190M ANANSI) is held by a contract with no withdrawal function: it cannot be pulled, ever, by anyone.

The token contract was never Ownable: it has no owner, no admin and no privileged role of any kind — nothing to renounce, because nothing was ever held. The surrounding engine contracts are renounced (owner = 0x0). Every one is source-verified. Nothing here asks for trust; everything has a receipt.

Locked & pooled supply — live from chain

reading chain…

Refreshed from Base mainnet each time this page loads — not a screenshot, not a claim. The balance of supply sits with the team and public holders; the complete, authoritative holder list is always on BaseScan. Founder allocation is time-locked in an OpenZeppelin vesting contract: nothing releases before Dec 8, 2026, then it vests linearly until Apr 1, 2028. Verify the lock yourself at 0x1CFE…F2b8 — its owner() is the only address that can ever withdraw, and releasable() shows what is claimable right now.

Use it: free API access for holders

A wallet holding 1,000,000 ANANSI gets 50 free data API calls a day. 10,000,000 gets 500. 50,000,000 gets 5,000. You prove the address with one signed message; there is no account, no card, and no key to store.

How: GET /holder/challenge?address=0x… returns a one-line message. Sign it with the wallet. POST /holder/session with the signature returns a session token. Send it as Authorization: Bearer to any paid route until it expires. Tiers and the current token address: /holder/tiers.

This is a use, not a promise about value. The balance check is a live read of the token contract on Base.
